  1. Monet would have smiled. That water looks so clear, I can see the stems of the lily pads. Did you see any frogs? I’ve read recently that so many species of frogs are disappearing in North America because of both climate warming (ponds are disappearing) and urban sprawl. Nice to see there is some oasis for them in the world.

    • Would like to visit Monet’s Giverney garden one day. Didn’t see any frogs but heard their noise. Would be disappointed if their habitat disappears. Regards, Michael

  2. Beautiful, love this photo theme. I have recently set myself a simular challenge, A photo a day using only my iPhone. I love that Photography teaches us to see the art in everything

    • In that case I didn’t do Japan justice. I’ll have to go back and enjoy the greener side of the country next chance I get. Keep bring us more lovely photography of nature. It’s quite soothing after a year of concrete and twenty-four hour conbini stores 😀
