  1. Nearly the sky where you find where two ocean merge – like in Skagern in Denmark and St Ives, Cornwell – UK. That special light purple light that painters love. Stunning ..

  2. The kind of day I would hate to fly in. I have to be able to see the sky, don’t know why. It does seem lush and tropical though, did you hear many birds calling out in the haze?

    • I can understand that. Although auto-piloting is now the common practice, many pilots still like very good visibility. HK is in the sub-tropical region; once outside the built up areas, it is green and lush. I didn’t hear many birds out there. We hiked and were approaching a marine conservation area which is very picturesque. Thanks for the comment!Michael

  3. Beautiful… like a dreamscape. You do lovely photography work. Thanks for liking my post on “merge.” I’m most appreciative and so impressed with your images.

  4. i always like dreamy and mysterious photos, they bring about great excitement in trying to find out whats behind the mist!

    • Hi fienndlytm, thanks very much for the nomination and the very encouraging ankind remarks in your post about my blog. I have decided not to pursue or accept any nomination / award during my retirement and for this reason, I have already turned down all similar awards. Knowing that my blog is read in many places of the world is already my biggest reward. With regret, I have to decline the nomination. Thank you once again for the nomination which is very much appreciated! Regards, Michael

    • Don’t worry about it. I enjoyed writing about all of you rather than getting the award myself. For me, it is the process ( writing) and not the goal ( award). I appreciate your response.

    • Hi friendlytm, I like the way you have written a short description about each of the nominees, this is much better than giving a list of the sites nominated. Thanks once again! Michael

  5. Thanks for the visit and the likes, i love your travel photos…wish to visit your place someday but for now I’ll be content with just looking at your photos. keep it coming.
