As this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge is coming out late, I am accepting the challenge in Travel Theme by submitting the photo below taken in the Six Attributes Garden, Kenrokuen Garden in Japan . . . . . . . . . . .
I love how the lake falls right under the forest, how there’s no beach or harsh rocks to navigate if you wish to be near the waters edge. It’s be a nice spot to put down a warm blanket and have a lunch or watch for birds.
Hi Raunak, this photo was taken by a Nikon D40 DSLR, which was the cheapest and smallest DSLR when it was first sold. The picture was taken against setting sun. I don’t know the settings. I had it on auto, but reduce the aperture progressively when the picture did not come out as expected. My recent photos are taken with a Fuuji X100. Regards, Michael
We in Canada pay great attention to the changing colours of leaves in fall, but I know that the Japanese take this phenomenon very seriously as well. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I was in Japan (Tokyo are) a few months back. This is a beautiful shot – very peacful compared to the busy streets of Tokyo.
Thank you Atticus!
