I have asked myself the same question. The answer to it is: Sunset colors are typically more brilliant than sunrise colors, because the evening air contains more particles than morning air. Regards, Michael
great to know that! Thanks 🙂
You are welcome!
Lovely image Michael. This is another of my favorite cities.

Beautiful Venice. We took a Gondola ride just before dark and were able to enjoy the night lights of Venice as we floated down the Grande Canal. It’s one of the most beautiful nights of my life. The music from restaurants filled the night sky and everything takes on a golden glow. I love how your photo just hints of the promise of that evening.
Hi Boomdeeadda, I admire the imagination and that you are able to describe things so vivdly. . . . . it is a reason that I have been perusing your blog! Michael
Thanks for your generous reply Michael. That feeling is mutual I assure you. Your photo diaries from exotic locals are thoughtful and beautiful. I dream of visiting some of them one day but until then I look forward to visiting them thru your creative lens 🙂
Yes I agree. Beautiful moment.
Romantic moment too!
Absolutely gorgeous capture! My stay there a few years back was quite rainy, but still beautiful.

Beautiful one Michael! I have often wondered why a sunset looks more beautiful than a sunrise…any idea?

Thanks Stephanie for reblogging this on!
beautiful photo, Michael.
Thank you Francina!
Another gorgeous photo, Michael! It perfectly captures the feel of the ideal Venezia and the part I love most about that city.
Have you watched the old classic movie “Summertime” with Katherine Hepburn and Rossano Brazzi? I highly recommend it and I think you might like it!
I took a look at how Wiki describes the movie, looks very interesting. I like Hepburn anyway, will find chance to see the movie!
I suppose you know that I am crazy about Italy.
I didn’t know that, as for Europe, your posts cover more about Spain and Portugal. In any case, you have a great blog which I admire. Regards, Michael
I like Spain too, Hawaii, and lots of places.
Thanks for letting me know!
Venice has a place in my heart. It’s magic! But I wouldn’t live there 🙂
Same thinking here. Regards, Michael
need to write a travelogue about my Venice trip. It was in 2004 , Old photos on film….but it was a fantastic trip . We were there for the carnival .
