The greatness of some of the waterfalls makes us think of ourselves as being a tiny part of the universe.
Think of our life as a waterfall; it may come crashing down at some point, it may have it’s ups and downs, but in the end, it will continue to flow.

Beautiful words…good for you! You are writing poetry in English 🙂 Nicely done Michael. – Bill
Hi, in this case, this is my first “poem”. Thank you pinklightsabre 🙂
Beautiful!!
Blessings ~ Wendy
Thank you 🙂
Spectacular!
Thank you 🙂
I love the angle of this photo – that we can see where the water is coming from, then the part over the edge is very sharp, and at the bottom it becomes soft. It’s super.
Glad that you like the image. Thank you 🙂
When I saw your previous post of the Jiulong Waterfall, it reminded me of other waterfalls that are famous in the western world, like Niagara and the Victoria Falls – and then you post this lovely photo of the Victoria Falls. It seems that taking good photos is a family thing too?
Hi, my brothers, my father-in-law, my sister-in-law like taking photo. My wife also is more and more into photography too; for some of her photos, I think they are better than mine! Thank you 🙂
That’s magnificent!
Thank you 🙂
Bucket list material!

Your sister-in-law is to be commended on such a spectacular photograph of this glorious site. Perhaps she would like to have her own blog! ????? http://ohtheplaceswesee.com

Hi annetbell, there is no problem of using my photo/ text in your blog if you would provide a link back to my blog. Thanks so much for the nominations which I understand are important awards. I have decided not to pursue or accept any nomination / award during my retirement and for this reason, I have already turned down all similar awards. Knowing that my blog is read in many places of the world (over 160 countries) is already my biggest reward. Thanks for enjoying my posts and thinking of me for the nominations. Regards, Michael

Beautiful photo and words. I love the calmness of the water at the top and then the power that takes it to its destination.
Yes, there is quite a bit of contrast between the top and further down. Thank you 🙂
Very nice photo! You should visit City of Jajce in Bosnia and Herzegowina. Waterfall is just stunning 🙂
I was in Plitvice; but understand the ones in Bosnia are stunning. Hope I will travel that way again. Thanks for the information 🙂
WOW! Spectacular waterfalls and you captured it so well. 🙂
Yes, spectacular is the word. Thank you 🙂
I opened this page and inadvertently said “WHOA!” while scrolling down, down, down the waterfall. Love this – hope I get to see the real thing one day 🙂
I suppose few screens are big enough to show the whole picture and readers will have to scroll down and down and are amazed. Thank you 🙂
Wow that is an amazing photo. Well done to Jennie!
Jennie always take brilliant pictures, but the problem is I can’t get her into writing 🙂

Such power and beauty-spectacular in so many ways-I look forward to seeing more waterfalls-
Thank you 🙂
Beautifully majestic, just as it should be.
The waterfall do give an impression as being powerful. Thank you 🙂
Your words are so insightful. Water is my element. All things water I feel apart of. Waterfalls I do believe move me this most. I love the sound of falling water, so I would have to include rain in that group. 🙂 Jk
Hi, the sound of falling water can be very soothing. I also like sound from the gentle lapping of waves on the shore. Have a great week 🙂
Beautiful!
Thank you Gayle 🙂
Amazing picture, Michael – and wiset thoughts!!
Thank you for liking the picture and the kind words 🙂
Michael – I would so repetitious if I said that your work is wonderful or beautiful, which of course are both accurate as far as they go … but I am never early enough in the praise parade to say something so simple and get away with it. This time magnificent, gorgeous, breathtaking and mystical – equally applicable words that get closer to my feelings about your work and, specifically today, to the combination of your words with your sister-in-law Jennie’s photo – have been gobbled up by others in their well-justified praise of your joint work. While I could wrack my brain in search of that perfect word that would properly convey the admiration that I have for your talents (and now your sister-in-law’s as well), I decided to fall back on a word I used a great deal in my youth when something was really great or wonderful (or person or a thing had those qualities). That word was “nifty” and I think that that your work (and now it seems the work of your sister-in-law) is just nifty. Thanks for sharing it.
Regards,
Rob
Hi Rob, I like your word “niffy”. This is the first time I have heard of this word. As English is my second language, actually, I have to check it out to see what it means – I like that. Many thanks for your continued support and for the time you send me this comment which is a big encouragement to me. Wish you a lovely week 🙂
so very true! great photo!
Many thanks, Lola. Have a great day!
Amazing take. So real when I scrolled down, it felt like I fell off the top. Glad I did not, but up close and real anyway.
Yes, you can easily be drawn into the picture 🙂
