A Word A Week Challenge: Bisect

This week the dictionary has fallen open at the word Bisect.

I frowned at seeing the word ‘bisect” as I may not have any pictures on it.

I am happy when I stumbled on this image which meansΒ “bisect” to me.

The image was taken in Annecy, France last year.DSCF1084

The picture is bisected into two halves. The pastel wall on the right, showing a bit of light and things inside a building.

The left hand side is further bisected into a grey wall and a narrow alley.

Hope by now you are not bored with the word bisect . . . . . . . . . . . Β as the picture can also be perceived as being bisected by two circular curves which are the arches.

  1. I appreciate your blog because I like to blog and although I’m not retired yet, I will be in five months. I see that you’ve done a lot of traveling and that’s inspiring for me. You have lots of good ideas on your blog And it looks like you’re taking the time ,effort and discipline to enjoy every day.

    • Hi, sometimes, I have to juggle blogging between my personal commitments and that can be quite hard. Hope toy will have an enjoyable retirement soon πŸ™‚

  2. I like how the distant building at the back center of the pictures is bisected, too — into pink and white sections. Looks like you had fun with finding a photo for bisect!

    • When I took the photo, I wasn’t thinking of any photo challenge. I was taking this image at the narrowest point of the alley, going under the arch; but it was real fun! Thank you πŸ™‚
