I like looking at reflections of birds in tranquil waters – that was the reason for posting my first entry for the challenge with images of little white egrets in the water.
As one who likes landscape, I couldn’t help to post my second entry with reflection of trees in still water.
The only reason for posting this one is because I like looking at reflection of flamingos in the water.
Glad to share; hope you like it 🙂

They are really lovely; glad that you like them!
I sure do! Thank you, Michael! Cher xo
Have a great week ahead!
I love all the different shades of pink. The dark pink just to the left of center is beautiful!
Am glad that there is a range of colors there. The dark pink is also interesting. Have a great week!
Love this photograph!
Thank you for the perusal and the comment!
Love it! Don’t they get that pink color from eating shrimp? At least that’s what I’ve heard; I’ve never stopped to ask one about it, though. 🙂
Think I have to research to see why they are pink – food or otherwise. Will be interesting to find out. Thank you!
great post as always. love it!
Great to hear from you. Have a great week!

Amazing range of pinks and what a difference sunlight makes
Actually, I am not sure why these birds have such a range of colors. Regards, Michael
Beautiful Michael 😀
Have a great week ahead!
Great shot, Michael. So great to see so many flamingos, they have all but disappeared here in Florida except at refuges.
Hope that they won’t disappear from Florida – they are just too lovely. have a great week 🙂
These are gorgeous~
Thank you 🙂
I love watching them in the water. So graceful with an unusual colouring.
The water and the reflection make a lot of the difference. I agree that they look graceful. have a nice week ahead, Colline 🙂
Great combo of two challenges! At least 50 shades of pink there, and the reflections are beautiful.
Yes, this is killing two birds with one stone. Glad that you like the various shades of the color. have a great weekend 🙂
Super!
Thank you 🙂
Very pretty sight Michael 🙂
Glad that you like the flamingos!
I do!

A beautiful reflection.
Thank you!
WOW! Did you really shoot this picture? It is so beautiful, I thought you created it with CGI, in which case also it’s exemplary!
Hi, the picture actually was taken by me in the Chime Long safari park in China. I don’t know about CGI at all, will explore to see what it can do. Regards, Michael
Thanks for sharing Michael. Wow this place must be heaven!
Yes, paradise on earth!
🙂
Yes, I recognize flamingo’s , they are so great! Saw them too in Morocco!
Glad that you like the flamingos. Regards, Michael
Wow
🙂
I like your flamingoes reflection.
Glad that you went back to view some of my earlier postings!
Oh this is spectacular! Never seen a shot quite like this one. Lovely. 🙂
Love to visit there again to see the flamingos 🙂
Where is ‘there’?
It is a safari park in Shenzhen, China.
A safari park? In China? I was sure it would be in Africa somewhere. I’ve always wanted to see China and Japan. Now more reason to than ever. Well, one day, when finances and pandemic allow. Stay well. 🙂
A trip to both places is well worth it. Before visiting there, I have never thought China has such a big safari park too 🙂
-grin- your photos always make me want to pack my bags and travel! Not in the current pandemic, of course.
I think we are all waiting for the time when the pandemic is over, pack up and go visiting again 🙂
We have health issues so we won’t be travelling until there’s a vaccine, but it’s nice to dream.:)
I hope the vaccine may come out by the end of the year. Meanwhile, have a nice dream!
Thank you, I will. Same to you!
Thank you 🙂
Absolutely.
