Spring has just arrived.
It is the best time for hiking in the hills of North East New Territories of Hong Kong when the leaves are green and tender.
Here are some photos taken during our recent hike into the hills of Luk Keng.
Everywhere is filled with new life.
The leaves are light green, thin and tender. Light just shine through them.
It is the best time for taking pictures of the green hillside when everything seem so fresh.
Green seems to be the only color, a color that is so pleasing to the eyes.
Hope Summer will not arrive too soon; by which time the leaves will be changed to a darker shade.
Wish this light green will last forever!
I, too, love that beautiful spring green.
It is the tender color and full of life that I like, I am glad you love the pictures!
Reblogged this on ugiridharaprasad.
Thanks for reblogging this on 🙂
I lovede the photos!
You must visit Brazil! We have a lot of green and beautiful landscapes!!
I would like to visit Brazil oneday, but it is so far away. Will get glimpses of it when the Olympics comes along!
Now this really is green — some of the most vibrant greens anywhere!
Hope the pictures are not too yellowish! Glad that you like them 🙂
Explosive green indeed!
I like the word “explosive”. Have a nice day!
Green is so pleasing to the eye. Looking forward to things starting to turn green here.
Hope Spring and green will be with you soon 🙂
Oh, how I love greens!

Hi del, hope they aren’t too monotonic 🙂
Green?! Nev-ah!
🙂
I like green color too 😀
You share my same ‘bad” taste!
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Debra, great to hear from you. Regards, Michael
This beautiful green color goes directly to the heart.
If this green color would last forever, we would not appreciate it so much any longer.
That’s very true, we treasure things because we know that they don’t last forever!
Perfect timing, I was trying to decide on a route for my run tomorrow. I will definitely skip the road and run in the ravine.
Yes, go for the ravine, Trish!
Very beautiful. So much of what we see in our area is subject to the drought: gray, brown, on decline. So much life in the green of your pictures. What a contrast.
Hope that Spring will bring a better scenery at your end! Regards, Michael
After the winter with very few colors the green enjoys the eye.
They are soothing colors too. Regards, Michael
I like Hong Kong this green ! Really pleasing to the eyes.
This is the less revealed side of Hong Kong. Glad that you like it. Regards, Michael
Keep up the good work! Thank you for giving us such positive presentation of your world!

Hi Michael – it appears you and Kevin Eames had green on the mind this month! Lush image!
Hi Laurie, I only have Green in my mind this Spring and therefore the photos. Last Spring, I like the flowers around me and posted about them. Not sure what I will be posting next Spring!!!
It can’t get more beautiful green than this – do you know that Norway is the greenest country in the world, according to the Norwegian – it has one shade more green than Ireland.
Think you mentioned it before when I posted on “Green all over the World” showing some green photos everywhere. Glad to be reminded again. Like to visit Norway and Ireland one day!
Both countries so friendly and beautiful, but very different – the fjords in Norway is so stunningly beautiful but they have to be seen from the sea. http://www.hurtigruten.com/
Thanks for the link and the information!
Soothing green…
Thank you!
