Weekly Photo Challenge: Spring ( outside my Window)

This week’s WPC is Spring.

I count myself blessed – where I live, one side faces the sea while the other, a hillside slope with trees.CIMG3913

This image was taken just a couple of days ago on the slope side.

The trees have turned yellow with some tiny flowers.

Spring has definitely arrived!

PS The trees are Acacia Confusa. In this part of the world, the common species is Formosa Acacia.

  1. Hi Michael,
What a lovely view you must have. Your trees are now green with new growth. Ours haven’t come out yet. It has been a very wet spring. It would be nice to see your view of the sea.

  2. you are very fortunate indeed to have such a view -beautiful shot, what type of trees are they, look a little like forsythia but they are too big and the shape is wrong ๐Ÿ™‚ – but yellow – or is it Cassia leptophylla – are you in the LA region?

  3. ๆ›„๏ผ่ƒŒๅฑฑ้ขๆตท๏ผ้žๅŒๅฐๅฏ๏ผ lucky you! In Hong Kong, very few will have such housing environment! Thanks for sharing!

  4. It’s amazing how a photo of the color green can be so beautiful and peaceful.
Supposedly, it’s spring here, but it’s difficult to tell. Everything is still brown.
