Lovely image. I like the blue tint – for me it definitely adds something. I’ve never been to Hong Kong but your photo encapsulates how I perceive it – as a vibrant city that lives life to the full 🙂
It is now more of a city for tourists and less so for inhabitants!
Looks lovely! Hong Kong is one of the cities I have wanted to visit for years. Hopefully when the Emuna gets to that part of the world we’ll be able to spend some time there. I did have a friend that taught at one of the universities there but she has moved out of country. Maybe I will make more friends there by then. 🙂
Hi Nicocolea, great to hear from you. I plead ignorance – what exactly is Emuna? Regards, Michael
Emuna (eh-moo-nah) is the name of my friend’s sailboat. We are getting her ready for a sail around the world next summer! Check out our WordPress! 🙂 http://emunaendeavor.org/
Hi, I will be posting another one soon. please watch out. Thank you 🙂
I will keep my eyes open! 🙂
🙂
Beautiful photo MIchael. I love the touch of blue. When we went to Hong Kong many years ago, we flew in at night. I remember looking out the window as we came in and the lights against the blackness were like diamonds on velvet.
I am being lazy – I should have gone through my archive to see what photos I have for the other cities!
Thank you for posting these photos which tell the world about Hong Kong,
Not only of its beauty but it’s unmatched representations of prosperity, modernization , and artistic values. Although Hong Kong still has many areas that need improvement, this night harbor view is no doubt # 1 from my personal viewpoint.
The blue tint makes a great skyline spectacular!
Nice to hear from you and thank you 🙂
Gorgeous picture!
Thank you 🙂
The blue tint perfectly suits to the scene!!
Will upload the original one and see what you think!
There is no place like home 🙂
Very true indeed, Cate!
Oooooh this is beautiful and spooky too, Michael !! Great capture!
Nice to hear from you, John and thank you 🙂
Beautiful, as always.

Beautiful city! I would love to visit some day. Now I am curious to see how this picture looks minus the blue tint.
Ok, will upload it in a future post!
Thank you!
Thank you 🙂

We are the Pearl of the East – but I am afraid, we are having too many lights!
Gorgeous photo, Michael. The blue tint is a creative and verry effective touch!
I will be posting one more image with a blue tint, please watch out!
Great, looking forward to it
🙂
Wow! Love your creative addition of the blue tint. It makes me feel as if I’m right in the middle of the water as I view the beautiful skyline.
I am posting another one with a blue tint, please watch out!
You only have to show one city!! This is special, I understand why you love the city! 😉

I have compared with the night scene pictures of NYC, Chicago etc and still think the HK one is one of the best, if not the best!
