To go with this picture, I have the following quotation from Vincent Van Gough:
There may be a great fire in our hearts, yet no one ever comes to warm himself at it, and the passers-by see only a wisp of smoke.
Let’s not be seen by others just as a wisp of smoke!
Beautiful!!
Thank you!
Fire warms heart and soul when under control.

A thoughtful quotation. Remedied by random acts of kinds to others, perhaps?
Yes, you are right!
A wonderful image and a good thought. Have a wonderful weekend, Barbara
Have a wonderful weekend to you too, Barbara!
Perhaps the most vivid memory I have of the trip my wife and I took to Taiwan was that of a Buddhist temple in Taipei. Thick, fragrant incense smoke filled the dark passageways and we were surrounded by intricate sculptures and decor and numerous people praying. It was enchanting and unlike anything we had seen in the US, and the slightest hint of incense brings me back to that place.
Glad that it brings back pleasant memory!
Beautiful light….
Thank you, Suej!
