Weekly Photo Challenge: Cover Art (4)

I don’t know whether I would ever publish a book.

If I do so, it will be a book on my travels.

One of these books will be on my travels to the various parts of China, showing it in all its beauty.DSCF2695

This photo will be my cover to the book.

Have seen many photos of the Great Wall before – many of them have a hazy background, and, may be a bit of green hills.

I like this photo as it shows the color foliage in the background, not much haze, a beautiful fortress, the wall snaking up the hills and not many visitors.

I count myself blessed on that afternoon to be hiking on this stretch of the Great Wall – the Mutianyiu.

It was the best of time!

  1. Hi Michael,
I was going to say that that had to be the Great Wall. I was thinking about doing an album about China. Just finished the one on India. You do the book and I’ll do the music.

  2. I think you should write a book about your travel experiences. Judging from your superb photos, you must have travelled to many interesting places.

  3. Hey there; I know it must be Mutianyiu. Otherwise it would be crowded with people. i went there in 2007. it was a great experience. Climbing the Great Wall is unforgettable.
Bedridden to be able to write a book? You know what I want to say!

    • Hi, did I say bedridden? I was thinking “home ridden”. It would be a good time to do books when you are too old to get around travelling.
I like Mutianyu a lot, much better than the crowded Badaling. Regards, Michael
