I like birds in flight – but my photographic equipment is not good enough for capturing them.
Here are a couple of photos which are taken by my calligraphy classmate Mr. Chung Kwok Fan.
He said they are not good enough to be shown in a blog; but I think otherwise.
The first one shows an egret in flight and the second one has got a fish in its beak.

Any news on your Mom?
My mom has a much longer operation (6.5 hours) to remove the large tumour which was very close to her spleen. Think the operation itself is successful.
Waking up yesterday morning, she was fine and talking. But today, she feels a lot of pain because the pain injection / killer are being reduced and oxygen removed, I think she still have to endure the pain for some days. Just now she excreted some blood which put us into an alarm situation.
Thank you so much for the update Michael. It sounds like a very intense surgery and recovery., I am hoping the bleeding is minor and quickly controlled. I continue to keep her and you in my thoughts. Wishing for a positive outcome and a good recovery. All the very best.
