It was the Spring of 2013 that we went to see the rapeseed flowers of Luoping in China. We were blessed to be there at the right time. There were just endless fields of yellow flowers. Without a doubt, the sight of these yellow flowers were just uplifting . . . . we were full of joy! PS For those who are interested, please visit my previous posts on the subject.
Thank you neihtn2012!
Great to hear from you. Thank you!
This looks like a painting. So beautiful!
Photos are a convenient way of producing painting like images for lazy people like me!
Glad that you like them!

You have great photos too!
So so beautiful!
Thank you, Marilyn!
I love the field of yellow flowers. It looks so peaceful, and like the air is clean and refreshing.
It indeed was peaceful!
Blooming rpeseed is a beautiful sight. We were surrounded by it in Switzerland. After a while, though, it starts to smell like dirty socks!
Seen them around in Switzerland, didn’t know they smell like dirty socks!!
It happens after they’ve blossomed for a while — they still look gorgeous but suddenly the whole area smells funny!
Maybe better stay away from a distance after they blossom!
Challenge won! Exquisite photos!
Thanks for the kind words! Glad that you like the photos 🙂
