Weekly Photo Challenge: Yellow (in the Desert)

Believe me, this is not a made up or composite photo.

We were travelling in Inner Mongolia; in the Resonant Sand Desert.DSCF2246

I love the clouds, the sand dunes and more than anything else, the yellow umbrella that appeared so inviting under the hot desert sun.

  1. This photo is a fine example of serendipity |ˌserənˈdipitē|
    noun
the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way: a fortunate stroke of serendipity | a series of small serendipities.
ORIGIN 1754: coined by Horace Walpole, suggested by The Three Princes of Serendip, the title of a fairy tale in which the heroes “were always making discoveries, by accidents and sagacity, of things they were not in quest of.”
I love to share meanings with you!
