Weekly Photo Challenge: Symmetry ( at Cambodia)

< 3 Photos>

I have been digressing onto the Lunar New Year.CSC_0456

Here are three photos taken at Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom etc in Cambodia.DSC_0140

The first one shows the two sides of a four-faced Buddha, they look symmetrical, don’t they?

The other ones are also taken in the area, they show a lot of symmetry.DSC_0235

I think symmetry is the basis of many designs but many contemporary designs also show asymmetry can also be beautiful too!

  1. Hi Michael. I’ve seen many photos of the Buddha in Angkor Vat, never did I see one impressive as the your center one. I had no idea the sculptures where actually so high in the air!
    Good work!
    Be good.
