Can’t believe this is a photo! I’ve seen all the lotus paintings by Monet, and this is, eh, yeah something like that. Just in case, I’ve posted one drawing and two butterflies. 🙂
Shades os Giverny indeed. I was fortunate to see a number of Monet paintings at marmottan in Paris, painted over the years as Monet slowly grew blind. And yet almost blind he still could recapture the essence of the famous bridge. By memory maybe?
Beautiful, Monet like reflection, Michael.
Glad to hear from you every now and then!
Gorgeous!!!!
Thank you!
It could be 🙂 Monet’s colors!
Glad that you agree!
Yes!! It is reminiscent of Monet!
Thank you!
You and I have had the same idea at different times. Here’s a “Monet” I did once: https://sustainabilitea.wordpress.com/2012/08/17/another-season-at-our-lake/.
Your photos are lovely too!

Have seen many lilies painting by Monet too, don’t think any of them is in a portrait format.
Definitely captured the feel
Thank you, Scott!
Most definitely Monet.
Photo with a Monet feel 🙂
Love this Michael, it’s very good.
Looks like Monet’s painting when he was getting old and eyes becoming dim.
It does, I like the oil painting feel about it. 🙂
Yes, it does have a oil painting look 🙂
