This week’ DP photo challenge is Creepy.
Here is a picture taken inside a limestone cavern with stalactites and stalagmites.
The series of stalactites hang from the roof, extending down to almost the water below.
The reflection created is equally interesting.
Given that the picture was taken some years ago, I can only remember it was a cave we passed by on our way to Zhangjiajie in China.
I love going into caves although they are a little scary for me. This is great yet creepy, I agree. But, beautiful at the same time.
Glad that you like the picture!
Creepy but beautiful.
Thank you, Ruth!
More beautiful even than creepy! What nature sculpts!!
I agree!
Oops. My comment went away! I had commented that your photo is even more beautiful than it is creepy! It is wonderful what nature sculpts. I dealt in this post more with what it paints, with a little help from photo filters: http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/08/22/painting-with-filters-in-photography/
Great post you have!
I am finding that my comments and likes often don’t take the first time in the READER. I always come back a second time to check and sure enough, they didn’t in your post. Let’s hope these stick.
It does!
N creepy, it is quite beautiful.
Thank you!
Absolutely beautiful!

Thank you!
This is creepy to me … don’t feel comfortable in caves.
am alright with caves if they are lit, not wet and with sufficient headroom.
You’re a brave man … *smile – nice image you created. *smile

Hope you are making sense of China and Asia!
I have been living in China for the last 11 years! The only way to survive is to make sense of the Chinese, fast!
Yes, real fast, in order to adapt to the ever increasing pace!
