I am going to show you two pictures of the so called Patchwork Road at Biei, Hokkaido.
The first one was taken by my brother last week was he was there. His picture shows a much wider and open field. The clouds in the sky was interesting too.
The second picture was taken by my some years ago in the same area. Obviously, I did not take the picture from the same angle or location, it shows the fields in more detail.
However, I believe, both pictures when taken together would give readers a good idea as to how beautiful the place is.
gorgeous, why isn’t the world smaller so i can see more of it?!?!
A good question!
So beautiful. The first has the same colors in it as this first shot: http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/08/30/happy-things-sunday-stills/
Thank you!
I can see why it’s called “patchwork”!
On some other pictures, it is more obvious!
Gorgeous colours. Isn’t nature amazing?
Thanks to mother Nature!
I am Japanese but I have not been to Hokkaido. But Hokkaido seems to be a must visit place. I hope that I can visit there someday.
Understand it is quite costly to fly domestic from all parts of japan to Hokkaido. Wish you would make it there soon!
beautiful!
Thank you!
Both great shots Michael. What surprised me was that though in Okkaido, the landscapes could have been in France. We had a house in Normandy and the fields over the hill looked just the same…
Yes, it is for this reason that I travel to Hokkaido, much closer, less than 5 hours. I absolutely love sceneries like these.
Yeah. Makes sense. For me Hokkaido is like… light-years away. As Hong-Kong. 🙂
Need to develop some planes which can at least half the time of travel!
I remember Concorde. A great achievement. Even more so as it was a French-British joint effort (unheard of) But I don’t know why nobody seems to be developing another supersonic. Shame.
Yes, it is scrapped -there must be travelers who don’t mind paying much higher fares for a quick flight.
Well when one sees te sorry state of economy these days.
In particular when China and other countries’ economies are going down, well said.
I loved Hokkaido… ❤
