This week’s DP photo challenge is Grid.
I don’t think I have lots of photos on Grid.
The first ones come to mind are the glass curtain walls in the Metropolitan Museum of New York.
The architecture was designed by architect I M Pei.
They give me a sense of serenity while browsing around in the museum.
Perfect, Michael!
Thank you!
So beautiful and perfect for the prompt. http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/09/19/daily-post-weekly-photo-challengegrid/
Thank you!
Fantastic shot
Thank you!
beautiful
Thank you!
this is fabulous…the reflections..the pale peach colour!!
I am glad that you like it!
Amazing architecture and amazing photograph!
The architecture has certainly created the ambience.
Oh my, yes!! Great photos for grid.
Thank you, Ruth!
Unusual but I like them 🙂
Thank you!
Very nice Michael. It’s been a coupla years since I’ve been to the Met (one of my favourite museums around the world) hadn’t seen that. (A logical reminder of Mr.Pei’s Louvre pyramid. I like this grid better)
Take care
brian
I am thinking whether this is called the West Wing, added on later with IM Pei as architect; it blends in quite well on the exterior as well.
It looks very nice on the photo.
Thank you!
I love that space at the MET, so beautiful
This is one of my reasons for visiting the MET, Larry!
In all the photos I’ve ever seen you post, this may be the first time you’ve been somewhere I’ve also been! We visited the museum on our 2011 road trip, and it’s great to see this exhibit again.
Yeah, many of my pictures are taken in Asia and outside the States!
Could you upload more photos of that museum? Thankss!!
Will do in the future!
I’ve been to the Met many times. The Temple of Dendur is so interesting.
Good to know the name of the Temple!
I love these windows! I would love to have a wall of windows (just like this) in my apartment. There are so many really cool/fun things that you could do with the windows.
Of course, the photography is awesome! It definitely makes me want to go back to New York!
A great idea!
