Yes lucky. Sometimes they’re in the living room. Sometimes in one of the bedroom. A maid we had a few years ago got bit by one, we had to rush her to the hospital. She ended up all right, but what a fright.
In the last couple of years, I have two bats that got into my bedroom. One I caught with a plastic bag and released it to the environment. A month ago, a bat hovered above my bed when I was wanting to sleep. I had to kill it with my tennis racquet, something I wouldn’t like to do – don’t like to kill any living thing.
Neither do I but sometimes there isn’t much choice. (I’ve killed a few snakes…)
I killed a sparrow when I was a kid – the only thing I killed for fun.
And I ‘m sure you still regret it. But Man is a hunter…
Yes, killing a sparrow just for testing my self made catapult.
Awesome! I like it! J.A. Ireland
Glad that you like it!
It’s colours are quite ghastly!
Its, sorry, I had to correct myself 😛
No worries!
Quite true- extraordinary color!
Great shot.
Thank you!
Pretty impressive. Sure got my attention!
Thank you!
The color of the scorpion look so delicious like crab
I suppose it is edible!
Definitely an extraordinary creature, but I’d be sure to keep an extraordinary distance away from it.
Yes, better be safe!
Great capture. I’ve been stung once by one and don’t recommend it at all. 😦
Yeah, stay away from it!
I avoid them like the plague Michael. 🙂
I got many negative comments on this scorpion. Agree that it should be avoided!
They’re a great creature Michael, just something to avoid. 🙂
Yes, Only shoot them at a distance.
Much safer!!
Sure!
I never knew they came in this color. Here in Florida they’re brown, and Africa they’re black – but this is unique!!
I suppose there are quite a few species.
Not to be played with!
Yes, very true!
That is one extraordinary thing I’d prefer NOT to see!
…….maybe not even like seeing it in a photo!
That is extraordinary. I wouldn’t want to get up close and personal to that!
That’s why this photo is precious!

Haha, could be !
However it feels, it’s reaction is fierce! That’s the most photogenic scorpion I’ve ever seen 🙂
Very photogenic indeed!
Attacking mode. And big.
We have scorpions in the house here…
Have to kill a few every once in a while.
They are quite venomous.
😦
Luckily, we don’t have them locally!
