Clouds at Okinawa

Both Sides Now Lyrics – Joni Mitchell

Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons everywhere,
I’ve looked at clouds that way.12362677_1218296368187501_8497135584051579556_o

Do they look like angel hair?

I must admit that I am not able to take such a good photo.

The picture was taken by my classmate YM Chan who has received proper training on photography.

I am more like the child on the beach ( at Okinawa) looking at the sky in awe.

  1. Beautiful photo and beautiful words to accompany it, I can totally see it, especially the icecream. I have lately been completely immersed into photographing the sky, that I am also glad to see I am having company in it, at least for a while. Thank you!

    • Never say never. πŸ™‚
I see your reflection is parallel to mine. When I visited Berlin a few years ago, I could not take a single step without thinking of the last combats in the city.

    • There were many things there which remind me of the Chinese culture in Okinawa.
Understand that their ruler pleaded to the King in Ching Dynasty to protect the Japanese from invasion by the Japanese and the Chinese King refused. History could have been different!

    • There is still a lot of resistance in Okinawa to the mainland Japanese although I think the resistance is not strong enough to break it away from Japan.
