While many tourists are attracted to the old town of Dubrovnik, the nearby Benje Beach is also an interesting destination.
The setting is perfect, overlooking the fortress and pier jutting out to the sea.
The beach with its sand and pebbles looks very much the perfect beach for lying down and enjoying the sun.
The water quality is superb, from the beach you can see a gradation of blue colors.
While there, the waters was still too cool and there wasn’t a lot of swimmers there.
Here are a couple of photos which give me fond memories of the beach.
An amazing place even if I do say so myself 😀
For one who is from that country, I am glad that you say that!
It is so beautiful!
Glad that you like it!
We were on that beach a few years back, on our holiday to Croatia. We stayed in Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar. Split was particularly amazing, the Diocletian Palace is quite something.
Glad that you enjoyed your trip to Croatia!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
I loved that beach too – it is bizarre seeing the architecture of the old town from the water!
A big setting for the old town!
My family was so delighted when we discovered Banje beach on our visit in October. What a happy place!
I am sure you enjoyed it!
You already know I like it very much!!! 🙂
Thanks for liking it!
