I like bridges, especially if they sit harmoniously with the surrounding.
This is a bridge we saw while taking a boat back from Szentendre to Budapest.
The bridge is aesthetically pleasing.
I like the color scheme, the form of the bridge, especially when viewed with a blue sky and the water.
🙂 The scenery looks so peaceful and quiet, very harmonious.
Have a very HAPPY day, dear Michael! 🙂
Glad that you like the bridge; be Happy!
Does the bridge connect Buda and Pest? I saw a travel log on them and discovered they were two separate cities then we’re joined together changing their names to one. Budapest. So fascinating!
Margit híd or Margaret Bridge (sometimes Margit Bridge) is a three-way bridge in Budapest, Hungary, connecting Buda and Pest across the Danube. It is the second northernmost and second oldest public bridge in Budapest. Regards, Michael
Good to know!
🙂
Oh yes, the Margaret Bridge! That’s a lovely one. And it was renovated not a long time ago.
Haha, you know more than I do about this bridge. I like the yellow color on the superstructure in particular.
I agree the blue sky and water adds to the mood!
Blue sky plus yellow bridge, glad that you agree!
💕👍🏼❤️
Water and bridges…
I have many of these photos. . . .
