Bangkok is only a few hours away by plane; it has been one of my favorite destination.
The atmosphere is relaxing, the people are friendly and the Thai food is to my liking.
However, things seem to have changed in recent years.
The Thai people are becoming more political; more worrying is the blast last year at the temple of the Four Faced Buddha killing many people.
Nevertheless, I can think of the more peaceful time when we hopped on and off the boat alongside the bank of Bangkok.
If I have to choose a photo of Bangkok, this is the one!
Nice picture! Did you take it?
Yes,of course.
It’s beautiful ❤
I didn’t post this picture, thinking it was mediocre!
Sure, Bangkok is a lovely city.
Quite true!
Beautiful!
🙂
Beautiful!
:-)
I can see why you like this photograph, Michael. It’s quite lovely. We visited Bangkok in 1985 and really liked it. My husband was there again in 2003 and said it had changed lots. I suppose it’s different again now.
I don’t like the city view that much; but views along the river entice me!
I like the mood of this photograph.
The original was a color photo which I think was mediocre – I managed to change it!
Very nice. I like the “sepia” touch.
Hi Brieuc, the original color photo was quite mediocre. It seems better when I turned it to sepia!
The end result is what counts, and it was very good.
That’s very true!
