It was a bit silly of me trying to walk under the sun for some exercise today when the temperature was hoovering around 33 degrees Celsius.
My walk was interrupted several times when I encountered these trees in blossom.
I can’t help taking out my camera to photograph these Flame of the Forest trees as they are the best I saw in years.
These trees were planted near to the Tai Po town area.
With a smart phone in hand and the fierce sun from above, I took photo of these trees.
The climate change has brought a lot of rain here in the last couple of months. This, I surmise, is the reason for all these blossoms.
A bright side of climate change?
magnificent!
Thank you!
Stunning trees! They well-deserve their name “Flame of the Forest”! Thank you for bearing the heat and sharing them with us! 🙂
These trees have the best flowers in years, I won’t mind the heat and direct sunlight!
33 degrees sounds perfect to me! Lovely trees.
Are you accustomed to such high temperatures ( and high humidity at the same time)?
33 is normal for summer here and it can be very humid at times. It’s much more humid on the coast and further north though.
I see, regards, Michael
Gorgeous photos Michael – the name is perfect for those trees. We saw something similar in the mountains of Puerto Rico
I like them very much and decided to do two posts.
Beautiful colours! 😀
Thank you!
lovely colors of nature and beautifully narrated….
Thank you Sudhir!
A very colourful walk. Lucky man.
These trees / blossoms remind me that Summer has already started here.
And quite hot already, right?
Over 30 degrees in the day time, already 33 in one of the recent days.
Oh. Make sure to wear a cap or a hat. (I always do now…)
I sometimes do that as well, it makes me look younger!
Good.
🙂
