When I am on a trip, I have a habit of wandering around the hotel early in the morning to find out what’s happening around the area.
This is Erdos in Inner Mongolia, China.
I was surprised to see the modernity of the buildings in the area.
I saw people doing exercise in the garden, early in the morning.
I was also surprised to see most or maybe all of those doing exercise were women; not only that, they seem to be well dressed up – do they go to work immediately after the exercise?
Why’s that there were no men doing the exercise?
In the same garden, there is also a pool where they have a good reflection of the nearby buildings.
I have flipped the image upside down so the buildings are on the lower half!
Reblogged this on Matthews' Blog and commented:
I identify with this as a retiree.
Some morning exercise will help all retirees!
Very well and I agree with you as I am on daily exercise and feeling good about it.
That’s great; keep up with it!
Thanks

The exercise is tai Chi?
(Love the upside down building photo)
Yes, the most practised exercise in China.
As I grow old and with back problems, I might start tai Chi one day. π
Tai Chi is good breathing exercise; improper practicing in fact could lead to knee problems.
Do you have hydrotheraphy in Mexico, it could be good for the back. Also yoga could be good.
Sounds logical. I would not have thought about that, Tai chi looks so… “easy”? Or rather, so soft and supple. But it confirms that anything needs to be taught and learned well. About my back I ahve tried just about everything. Nothing really works. Walking is good. And the pain is bearable. It really is a matter of changing position all the time. Not sit too long, not lie down to long, basically moving and moving. I’m all right. Thanks for your suggestions.
There is also accupressure and acupuncture that you may like to consider . . . . . . . . or maybe, you have already tried. I am sure walking is a good exercise too!
It is. As you know well.
