I am not sure what is the best picture for this theme.
Here is a picture taken of a tree stump in Inner Mongolia, China.
It is said to be a thousand years old.
Isn’t it rare?

There are some old ones, but they are usually chopped off nicely.
I’m seeing a number of faces in the stump … stories perhaps from times long gone … intriguing photo
