Weekly Photo Challenge : Nostalgia ( Okinawa )

Every body has their own interpretation of Nostalgia.

Different cultures and brought up experience have influence on what nostalgia may mean.

With a such diverse readership, more than 30% from the States and the rest from many English and even non-English countries, I was at a lost as to what I can show to depict Nostalgia.dsc_0083

An old radio or a sewing machine are definitely common elements of nostalgia for many countries. I have posted them in my previous post.

The picture here is a collection of old objects in an old mansion in Okinawa, Japan.

The room has old tea pots, oil lamps, weaving machines, flour grinder etc.  We have something similar in our cultures but they may not look the same. But still, they seem nostalgic to me.
