While visiting the Plitvice national Lakes in Croatia, we walked on this curvy path.
The boardwalks there bring us close to the waterfalls and other water features.
While my previous post shows a birds-eye view of the boardwalk; this photo shows a close up of the boardwalk.
The walk brought us a close view of the waterfalls; it was amazing!
This week’s DP challenge is Path.
While visiting the Plitvice national Lakes in Croatia, we walked on this curvy path.
The boardwalks there bring us close to the waterfalls and other water features.
The feeling we have while walking there is very different from the feeling we have while over viewing it from the hills.
We climbed up the nearby hill and look downwards on where we have been. It was like a picture.
To complete the picture, there was one traveller on the boardwalk taking photos. This gives us a sense of scale of the place.

I have posted this photo before – under the theme of sunset.
In fact, this path led me to view one of the most wonderful sunsets I have ever seen in my travels.
The view was so enticing as we wandered along this seaside board walk in Langkawi, Malaysia.
A brilliant sun set was waiting for us when we turned the corner of this path.
It was a path to a sunset.

The hike on the endless steps in the Great Wall has taken my breath away – in both senses of the word!

We hiked up the mound which has a circular arrangement of slates with Chinese calligraphy on them.
The leaves have turned reddish brown and have rich Autumnal colors.

The waterfalls and the Autumn foliage were beautiful.
There is a lot of serenity in the area.
Watching the sea of clouds is one of my favorites.
There are mountains like HuangShan in China which is famous for this.
Today, I am taking you to a place I have not yet visited.
It is known as the Castle in the Air when translated literally.
This is the last and perhaps the best photo taken by my classmate YM Chan in Japan recently.
The place just looks surreal!
