This is a response to the DP challenge of Path.
As a traveler, I have taken many paths, some less traveled, some into unknown territory and some back into history.
This path leads me from one side of the gorge to another.
On the other side, it almost goes straight into a cavern.
The picture was taken in Yunnan, China.
The two sides of the gorge was connected by a flimsy suspension structure.
oh this is a cool shot and a little unnerving – but so neat that they could build it….
. . . . the footbridge is at a high level too and a bit bouncy . . .. . . .
oh wow –
Beautiful to look at, yet must have been scary to walk at this height and the bounce.
Yes, that was scary!
While it must be amazing to experience it, for me, the joy of looking at it works. 🙂
Glad that you like looking at it. Regards, Michael
Ark tunnel ahead – it invites you to follow!
I should show a picture as to how high this is above the river below.
The “less traveled path” always makes the difference. When I look (late) at your weekly collection of photographs I realize that the places I want to go now are in Asia. Need to plan for that.
Yeah, how about travelling to the West Coast, then Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong and down to SE Asia; that will be interesting!
Yeah. I have been thinking along those lines. But then mainland China and South Korea are alluring too.
Mainland China is a vast country, you may pick a few key places or you can spend the whole trip just exploring the country.
I know. It feels like one would need a lifetime to explore it.
Yes, the good thing in Mainland China now is that they have a good network of High Speed Rail and you may not always need to travel by plane.
Interesting. To be true, the pace of development of the mainland in the past 30-40 years has been amazing.
Just unbelievable, hope they can improve on other aspects too.
To this day, footbridges frighten me. Great post!
More footbridge post to come, I like them.

Wondeful picture, and thanks for being brave mate. 🙂
The photo is a high level footbridge . . . . . it didn’t show enough of the high; otherwise more people will be scared.
Beautiful to look. I want to visit that place!!!
Wish you will visit the place soon!
