Yes, but the number and minimum expenditure of tourists are controlled.
Oh. Tourists have to spend a minimum?
Think it is US$250/day – costs for accommodation, guide etc included.
A bit expensive considering the likely local GDP. Well. All things under the sun…
They want to keep the number of tourists in check, thus not affecting the environment.
