For some of my pictures I just took B&Ws but found that they didn’t come out well. So, for some of the Angkor sites, I quickly revisited them and took colour pictures. It seems the only major difference is that the colour pictures have green colours from the leaves, otherwise, very similar to the B&Ws anyway.
At first sight when I was “shooting”, I felt the major issue would contrast. How to distinguish the expression on the Buddhas at Bayon for instance. Right now, I have sorted out the photos by place. And sorting out Angkor by temple while I still remember. And doing some tests randomly on this or that picture to see what works best? Colour or B&W. Contrast I think would be the major issue in B&W. We’ll see. (Remember, I’m a lazy photographer who only carries an iphone) Cheers
I like the iphones – they sort out the photos by date and place. The place has a wow factor!
Makes it easier to sort pictures.
That’s exactly the reason I like to take casual photos with iPhones.
Nice set of images.
Thank you 🙂
This is terrific!

Weathered indeed. Angkor is definitely an incredible place.
