The pictures are not that good – I have the wrong setting on the front of the camera ( which is strangely located ) which was set to mechanical – which did not agree with the other settings. It is this situation that I would prefer using iPhones for photos.
Well, it does make for an interesting effect. 🙂
Some of the photos are blur!
Well, that one looks like an impressionist painting. 🙂
I have turned it into a HDR photo.
I think I need to use my camera more and don’t change from AF lenses to fixed lenses as this requires several settings to be changed which I always forget.
I have just ordered an AF zoom lens and will use all AF lenses to avoid changes in setting when I change lenses during shooting.
What’s an AF lens? Auto focus? (One of the reasons I love Iphones) 🙂
AF is automatic focus.
I have problem switching between a kit AF lens and the fixed lens.
Every time when I switch ( maybe on the same shot), I need to go into the menu and made the change and also on the dials too – and switching back when I switch back!
Understandable. I’m not sure I would remember the combination fatal and speed. Maybe I will look at my old Anahi Pentax to see if I remember. 😊
I just bought another AF zoom lens so in future, I would just be using AF lenses only, not mixing with mechanical lenses. Too much hassle at this age to bother with changing settings etc whenever I switch lens – sign of aging?
Not at all. Signs of wisdom. An example: I’m avid reader… read every day. Used to never drop a book until I finished it no matter what. Now? If the book is bad I drop it… why waste time? Let’s be practical my brother…
Haha, there are quite a few books that I cannot finish!
Have you read a book known as Being Mortal written by a surgeon?
Wonderful moody image!!
Glad that you like it, Nora!
It’s beautiful!A long time ago, I lived in xiamen. I like this city.
There will be more photos on Xiamen to come!
Looks like a water color painting. Very nice.
This is a HDR photo – the original is equally good!
Nice preview. Look forward to the series

Wise. No point in wasting time on a bad book.
Very true!
Nope. Being mortal? Doesn’t ring a bell
I have just started; should be a good read.
