Such a beautiful country but most precious were the people! If I hadn’t moved to France, I did consider moving to Vietnam. From what a friend, Huyen, tells me, the changes since we were there would break my heart. Capitalism takes no prisioners.
I still have to discover more about Vietnam. Will visit it again one day 🙂
And we shall enjoy the photos you share. 🙂 I really did love it. The memories will always be with me. 🙂
I am glad that you have been following and enjoying the photos.
I intend to travel a bit more, now that I am free of being a carer – before I finally loose my mobility.
I always enjoy your photos. No doubt I inherited some wanderlust from my Welsh grandmother… but also, I was always in search of a place I could belong and I have found it. I am very fortunate. 🙂
I love travelling in Wales – have been there twice.
I am glad that you have found a place you belong – that’s very important.
I’ve yet to visit Wales. Alas, since finding that long sought place of belonging, the wanderlust has grown silent.
I like the area around Isle of Anglesea. However, I only manage to keep a few photos.
My grandmother was from Cardiff and could she sing!
People in Wales has a lot of musical talents 🙂
Absolutely and I adore it. Every time I got in the car with grandma we would sing our lungs out. Have you ever listed to Bryn Terfel? You can find him easily on youtube. 🙂
I love the saturation and vibrancy in the colors in cotrast to the muted buildings in the background
Well said; there is a delightful contrast 🙂
They have decorated them beautifully.
They give life to the environ!
Thank you Michael. Lovely as always and it does remind me a bit of my time in Vietnam… 🙂
Yes, Lea, they do remind me of that too!
