I think the Japanese has taken Chinese art and developed that a lot further to give you that sense of peace and serenity
They have taken the best thing in Arts from the dynasty and develop; whereas we are hurt by the cultural revolution and regressed.
Absolutely. It seems the grandchildren of those who waged the Cultural Revolution are way “over” that. 🙂

True. The cultural revolution did a lot of harm. On many levels. But culture is resilient. 🙂
It was good that the revolution did not last for generations, otherwise the damage can be huge.

Even the leader Xi was affected by the Cultural Revolution and he didn’t have much proper education.
