I am afraid there will be more extreme weather affecting us. Nia, just donβt get too worried – whatever happen will happen. Hope you will keep safe πππ
Thank you dear Michael, you say right, I should say this to myself, Love, nia
When I wrote the post that morning, the reports said 1,700 trees. A week later, the media reported 17,000 trees and I amended the post. Now, various sources said 47,000 big trees – it is a disaster – fallen trees now fill up 10 ha of space at the old Kai Tak airport!
A disaster it is. What a shame.
No one knows how the 10ha of fallen dead wood would be treated. It could light up by a lightning!!
Let’s hope not.
Maybe just go to landfill, wasting the capacity of this in a place where land is at a premium.
Disposal is an issue I had not thought of.
. . . . and tree replanting too. A bit of a headache.
so sad… Climate of the earth makes me worried every day…
Be in safe, Thank you, Love, nia

Nature’s way of keeping balance…even though sad.

17,000 trees? How terrible. It takes so many years to grow a tree.
