The Fishermen’s Village in Inle Lake

Travelling to Myanmar is an unforgettable experience.

Inle Lake is a highlight of our journey. It is a place that we spent two nights.

On one of the days, we took a full day boat trip, traversing the north and south of the lake; a total distance of 6km.

This is where we saw so much life on the river; even flocks of seagulls on the river and they were from Siberia.

What is most interesting and picturesque are the houses on stilts in the fishermen’s village. The houses on stilts are separated by waterways which one has to cruise slowly in order not to disturb the tranquility of the place.

We therefore cruise slowly near those houses, taking pictures.

They are the best views and will remain in my heart forever.
