Great photos of a fascinating bird, Michael. I’m not familiar with them – is this the same individual albino sunbird in your earlier photos or are there more than one of them flying near you?
There maybe just one that has become partially albino on the head, wings and tail. I am showing it in a different posture.
To get this photographed I have to go up twice the tallest peak on HK island and wait there for a few hours.
Thanks! I admire and understand your curiosity about this bird and your willingness to climb high up and wait for hours with your camera! I have waited 7 or 8 years to photograph a Heron in a special location, myself. 😊
