These jellyfishes are almost invisible.
They are thin and almost transparent.
I can only see the faint outline of their bodies.
They float on water as if souls float in the atmosphere.
But they are beautiful!
To me, these jellyfishes at Monterey Aquarium look like cells floating in the blue water.
They are almost transparent, so you can see within their bodies which are just like the nucleus of a cell but illuminated.
For the following Saturdays (my time), I will be showing a series of jellyfishes.
These pictures were taken by my wife earlier this year as part of her visit which involved travelling 5400 miles in the National Parks of the South West and a return trip from Las Vegas back to San Francisco via the Pacific Highway.
The jellyfishes at Monterey Aquarium are just fascinating!
