Lisbon Old Town with Yellow Tram – Photo taken in early 1990s and preserved by Mom
Weekly Photo Challenge: Frame ( Dubrovnik 3 )
This week’s photo challenge is Frame.
Many of my pictures taken in Dubrovnik are framed.
There are many picturesque views you see through small windows while walking the Dubrovnik seawalls.
Some of the architecture and arches appear to frame the subject so well too.
These pictures were captured while walking the sea walls of Dubrovnik or taken from the shore with views towards the sea.
It looks as if the old town and the sea was reviewed frame by frame.
Weekly photo Challenge: Frame ( Dubrovnik 1 )
This week’s photo challenge is Frame.

This is a view of the old town looking from a tiny rectangular window.
There are many windows with fantastic views.
It looks as if you are seeing the old town, frame by frame.
The Cathedral of Vilnius
The Cathedral of Vilnius is the main Roman Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania. It is situated in Vilnius Old Town, just off of Cathedral Square. Dedicated to Saints Stanislaus and Ladislaus, the church is the heart of Catholic spiritual life in Lithuania.
The bell tower I uploaded in my last post is a short distance away from this cathedral.
The picture was taken when the light came from the side enhancing the thee dimensional effect of the architecture.
Depending on the response, I may upload further posts showing inside of the cathedral.
The Riga Picture
There are many beautiful spots in Riga, Latvia.
Instead of visiting the more touristy areas, I love wandering the back alleys of this capital which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is one of the best pictures I have taken in Riga.
I like how the light has penetrated the alley and to make this picture more perfect, there was a cat wandering in the alley too.
I have an almost exactly the same photo, but without the cat there.
To tell you the truth, this one is better.
The Tallinn Picture
Walking in the old town of Tallinn, Estonia is unforgettable.
Tallinn is the capital and largest city of Estonia, situated on the north shore of the Gulf of Finland. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I like the view of old town from a higher location where we took a rest. From there you can see the St. Nicholas Church and other terracotta colored buildings.
On that day, the clouds were spectacular too as evidenced in the photo.
Please enjoy!
