Rain, Rain, Go Away
We used to have relatively dry and pleasant days in October.
The climate change has changed things, quite a few typhoons are coming even in October.
We just missed the typhoon Sakira which was tracking from East to West towards Hainan Island.
Yesterday it brought torrential rain, with over 100mm in many places.
Here is a picture taken from the local Standard newspaper to whom credit is acknowledged.
It shows a roadway completely flooded, with a lone yellow Mini Bus deep in the water.
Today, so far, we are spared from the rain.
We don’t know what is installed for us tomorrow when another super typhoon will head towards Hong Kong. It is predicted that the typhoon will make its landfall within 100km of Hong Kong.
Some newspaper forecast there will be a direct hit!
Autumn is Fleeting Away
I like looking outside my window.
In my blog, I have various posts titled : Gazing Out From my Window.
This is a view outside my window around 6pm last evening – the so called Grey Hour.
The clouds were colorful and in a funny configuration.
The air was stuffy as typhoon Megi just passed north of us.
