We had a wonderful time on the Hvar Island of Croatia.
It turned out more enjoyable than expected – there was the blue Adriatic Sea, the Spanish Fortress, the friendly people, the good food etc.
What was most enjoyable was having seafood in the restaurants!
We sat in this restaurant not far off from where they grilled the fish.
I was so interested in the way they were cooked.
The warmth radiated from the fire was just so comfortable and soothing.
In the end, I ended up taking quite a few photos of the restaurant, the cooking and the food. The ambiance at the restaurant was just so delightful!
I have always hated cold.
I like sitting by the side of a fireplace (I can accept the modern ones with imitation fire flickering ), reading a book.
This picture was taken at the top of the hill behind Dubrovnik.
We were up there for a meal of the roasted lamb.
See how the fire burns, it radiates heat and fills the place with warmth!
