Nice photos of HK. I miss seeing all this. It has been a long time since I visited HK and though I do not miss the poor air quality ( I get bronchitis monthly for the years I stayed there) and I do hope this has improved? Food is something I miss there as there are different foods for different seasons and of course the vibrancy of Temple Street and Stanley Market (though I hear now it has commercialized) for tourists. Have a great weekend.
Hi, the air quality in HK is now slightly better as some of the polluting industries have moved from the Pearl River Delta to other places in Asia.
The food here is still very good, except that prices have risen a fair bit.
There is not a lot of changes to Stanley Market nor Temple Street, they just sell the same things they used to sell.
Hope life is treating you kind. Have a great weekend to you too 🙂
Thanks for the update Michael!
Spore is more liveable but a bit boring. Hope I will have a chance to visit it again 😂
Do come by! Yes we are boring as we are strict and all abide by laws! No strikes. No mass protests. All go to jail if they do 🤣
HK will be a better place if we just send these people to jail!
Agree. I am amazed at the protestors but I guess it adds to the unique culture of HK…SAR status, China yet not quite. I hope economically HK is not affected with all this. But transportation will be bad if such mass protests occur. Business grinds to a halt?
Business is largely unaffected. More of these are protesters are now jailed. Some roads were blocked at the time of the protest. Still, it is not as bad as some of the protest in South Korea, for instance.
Marvelous collection of photos! Hong Kong has changed a lot since I was there more than 40 years ago.

Yeah, HK is almost a different place when compared with 40 years ago 🙂
