Nature reveals many lines of symmetry; we see things around us which are symmetrical than asymmetrical.
To many architects and engineers, symmetry is the natural way to express in their designs.
Here is a cable-stayed bridge in Switzerland.
The two pairs of towers for anchoring the cables and also the cables themselves are symmetrical in their arrangement.
Please enjoy 🙂
Looks almost like a ride out of Disneyland. Very nice with the cables moving towards a central location and the hill nicely captured in the background. Also very nice with the doorway effect.
You have described it very well, Peter. Regards, Michael
Cool shot!
Thank you, Cecilia!
Beautiful capture of a beautiful structure….
Thank you, Santosh!
Stunning view!
Thank you!
Michael, my Swiss wife would love to know where in Switzerland this bridge is located. It looks of recent construction judging by the suspension setup.
Hi, I am not sure where the bridge is. We stopped by this bridge on our way back from Annecy in France, returning to Geneva. Sorry about this!
This bridge, with its crenelated towers, looks like it might lead to a fairytale castle.
It really has a fairy tale setting. Regards, Michael
