Here is another photo which looks like a Chinese painting.
I must admit the motion of the small bird is overshadowed by the stationary Kapok flowers.
But together they look so beautiful.
Again, the picture was taken by Chung Kwok Fan to which credit is due.
Please enjoy π
I enjoyed this picture. It shows how small the bird is in relation to the flowers and also the speed of its wing movements as it lands on the bud. The color of the kapok flowers is so rich.
Glad that you like it. Thank you!
You’re right. It does look like a Chinese painting. And how lovely is that!
Glad that you like it, Rusha!
How does he do it, it is amazing to be able to take such pictures.
Most probably by chance and patience!
It is so beautiful!
Thank you!

Lovely picture! The bird is an “Oriental white eye’
You are right, my dad used to keep this bird in our house as pet when we were young!
Beautiful colours, Michael, and the small bird is very effective, once the eye becomes focused upon it. I agree that the photo is like an oriental painting.
I have to find out whether kapok exist also in western countries. Regards, Michael

The little green bird amidst the big red hero flowers… π
Quite a bit of interesting contrast – bird flapping its wings vs the stationary flowers too!
