I have been showing pairs of photo for places taken at night and in the day.
These include photos of Hong Kong, Seoul etc.
There is a lot of contrast between these photo pairs.
Here, the night picture of the picturesque city was taken by my university classmate YM Chan,
while the day photo was taken by me.
As you can see in both pictures, there is a pagoda on the left bank , a river in the middle and traditional houses built on the right bank.
In fact, the place suffered a lot of damage during the Summer flooding this year.
The bridge is gone in the daytime photo? Both are beautiful, though.
Actually they are taken at slightly different angles with the bridge hidden behind a river bend on the second one.
The top photo is outstanding! The crisp lights in the windows and the reflection of the evening light make it one of my favorites.

I only noticed the missing bridge after it was mentioned by loisajay. I kind of figured it was from a different angle. It is a very pretty city, Michael.
