Hi, great to hear from you – I like the picturesque sceneries too!
Hi Michael,
When were you in Turkey. They are having a lot of trouble there now. I would dearly love to see it. Haven’t been there yet but your pictures indicate a very interesting terrain.

When I was young, I first saw Pamukkale in an advertisement for a cigarette known as Silk, Pamukkale was snow white, the sky was blue and then there was a private plane flying in the sky above, leaving a white tail – the whole thing was just surreal!
Saw this on TV the other night, fascinating!!
Glad that you like Pamukkale! Regards, Michael
Beautiful photo, Michael! It seems like a painting. Thank you!

Hi, that was a few years ago – before the civil unrest. I have other posts on Istanbul, Cappadocia etc which you may also find interesting!
Oh, yes I would love to see them. Thank you.
Leslie
Wish you would visit it in person someday!
Maybe we will. I sure hope so.

🙂
Awesome is the word that comes to mind.
Thanks for your continued interest in my blog!
I don’t think of this kind of terrain in Turkey. It’s quite beautiful and I would love to experience this part of the world myself someday. Soon!

Wow, such beautiful images.
Thank you, Karen!
Thanks for the memories! I visited several years ago it was an interesting spot. Your photos are terrific!
Glad that they bring back fond memories!
can we swim there?
No, for fear of contaminating the water.
I have nominated you for the Liebster Award. Please, see my blogpost titled ‘Liebster Award’ to find more information about this. Congrats! =D
Thank you!
your welcome 🙂

Pamukkale is beautiful, isn’t it. I was there last summer and was relieved to see that the travertines have returned to their white state!
When I was there it was definitely not white. there were guards there to blow the whistle whenever he spotted people going down the travertine waters!
oh wow – they now allow people to walk in it. you can start at the bottom and walk all the way up to Hiereopolis, now!
That’s good ! I hope it was like that when I was there.
A truly amazing place. Your photos are lovely.
Thanks for your lovely words too!
